Sr. Margaret Mary adoring in chapel

Would you like to join your voice with ours to proclaim to the world that we love Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament and to let the world know that He longs to be loved by all His people? If God has put into your heart an interest in religious life, it is something to consider very seriously and prayerfully, because it is a great gift from God to be called to be His bride - totally dedicated to Him and His Church. Of course every Christian is called to be dedicated to Him, but not all are called to the radical, total dedication of consecrated life. May you seek His will in prayer, and have the courage to follow Him wherever He leads, down whatever path He has chosen for you. If He is calling you to religious life, you must discern what community. I invite you to prayerfully read the material on this website and to contact us if you feel God may want you to be a part of founding this new community.

Children of Mary was begun in the diocese of Columbus, Ohio under the guidance of recently retired Bishop James A. Griffin. We are in the process of gathering women who want to live together and offer their lives to God, creating a place where our love for Him is manifested in our loving adoration of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist and our love for one another and all those whom He may send to visit us. As we adore Our Eucharistic King enthroned on the altar, we pray for all people to come to love and adore Him, and we ‘wait in joyful hope for the coming of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ’. We desire to light a fire of love - to spread the Eucharistic Reign of Jesus that will prepare the way for the Coming of Jesus in glory. Marantha! Come, Lord Jesus!

Our life consists of prayer, work, and study of the Faith and the spiritual life. The community is be semi-contemplative with time for silence and prayer, and also for community and welcoming guests that come to pray with us and learn more about the Faith. Our foundation is love for God, love for one another and love for His holy Church and all the gifts He has given His Church - especially Himself in the Holy Eucharist and Our Blessed Mother.

To be a founding member of a community is a special grace. If you would like to come for a visit, you can call or email and we will make the necessary arrangements.

May Our Lord and Our Lady bless you as you pray and discern the path that He has marked out for you from all eternity.
